Mechanical Engineering Manager

• The Mechanical Engineering Manager reports directly to the Director and leads the mechanical engineering staff in the design, development, and support of projects and products development.
• The Mechanical Engineering Manager is directly responsible for the definition, adherence to, and improvement of all mechanical engineering processes as well as the direct supervision of the mechanical technical staff.

• Coordination with the EES’s Operations Manager (i.e. manufacturing engineering, procurement/supply chain), Quality Engineering, Product Managers, Program Managers, and other technical Function Group Managers, regarding engineering resources, development schedules and costs, and engineering change/quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordination with EES's Business units regarding customer requirements, proposal and quotation development, marketing and sales materials and product support.
• Internal reporting on engineering staff activities, engineering processes, and related issues.
• This position requires a significant amount of interpersonal interaction with the entire engineering staff.
• Must possess the leadership skills and capability to understand program requirements, to identify staff and engineering process strengths/weaknesses, to develop and effectively implement improvement programs for both staff and engineering processes, and to assure a high degree of customer (both internal and external) satisfaction.

• The Mechanical Engineering Manager must have a strong background in integrated (electrical, mechanical, controls, etc) products and systems as well as significant exposure to the varied (and sometimes conflicting) requirements of flexible R&D project engineering and the more disciplined product development/support engineering.
• Demonstrated team leadership and the ability to function in a fluid engineering environment where good judgment and impeccable adherence to standards are critical to the success of the engineering process.
• Must have a proven ability to effectively lead, manage, supervise, hire and mentor highly talented engineering personnel both as individuals and as part of integrated product teams.

• High voltage power electronic systems for Electric and hybrid vehicle/power systems charging.
• High volume, low cost commercial electro-mechanical system design, qualification, and production sustainment

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Reporting Relationships:

Knowledge/Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience managing projects of varying complexity and scope.

• Improve and or automate manufacturing processes by designing, recommending for purchase, or building new or improved machines, tooling, fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and processes.
• Discuss proposed improvements with appropriate engineering and operations staff, and implement approved changes
• Provides production floor and assembly support in technical matters related to interpretation of engineering documentation, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), rework, manufacturing difficulties and specification, and implementation and training on new processes.

Engineer - Civil

Description

Essential Job Functions:

The essential duties and responsibilities regularly assigned to this position include:

• Work with Section Manager and Lead Engineer for following items which are related to civil structures, such as buildings, tunnels and site preparation works (and possibly components, such as heavy components including reactor vessel, steam generator and pressurize) for Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor (APWR).
• The activities for APWR cover licensing supports, engineering, procurement and construction.
1. Development of specifications.
2. Development of design/assessment documents and licensing documents including licensing application.
3. Site-specific engineering design/assessment for US-APWR.
4. Technical review of design documents and licensing documents, including those developed by contractors.
5. Technical response to questions posed by the NRC for the APWR DCD and COLA.
6. Preparation of presentation materials and providing presentations to regulations, nuclear related organizations (such as NEI, EPRI, INPO, ANS and ASME) or customers.
7. Technical support for sales promotion activities in the US for MHI's nuclear business including response to questions from potential customers and assisting business presentations.
8. Attending regulatory and industry meetings, including those organized by NEI, EPRI, INPO, ANS and ASME.
9. Interfaces within the engineering Sections, and with MHI and subcontractors for APWR.
10. Other activities identified by Section Manager / Lead Engineer.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science or equivalent
• Minimum of five years experience of dealing with technical aspects of nuclear engineering
• Demonstrated skills in written and oral communications
• Working knowledge/familiarity with PWR plant design, and design related codesand standards
• Knowledge/familiarity with NRC regulations, guidance, and Standard Review Plan
• Working knowledge of PWR civil structure design, seismic and FEM stress analysis and ANSI, ASME, AISC, ASTM and ASCE codes
• Knowledge/familiarity of quality assurance for nuclear plant, including 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B and 10 CFR Part 52 and ASME NQA–1
• Professional Engineer License (Civil and/or Mechanical engineering) in the State of Virginia (and Texas).
• Minimum two years experience performing engineering and safety assessments at a variety of nuclear facilities (including PE sealing of technical documents and drawings).

General Manager Engineering and Planning

Description :

• This key position is a member of the senior staff responsible for overall direction, administration and related activities in the areas of planning, engineering, and noise/environmental compliance.
• The successful candidate will provide vision for the Airport Authority in the on-going and future development of capital projects, with responsibility for ensuring that projects are in compliance with applicable regulations, are environmentally and financially sustainable for the airport and surrounding community, and are accomplished in an efficient and cost-effective fashion.

1. Providing effective professional leadership and management of engineering, planning and environmental staff.
2. Performing liaison with governmental regulatory agencies for permitting, inspection, licensing and registration
3. Participating in negotiation of contracts with suppliers and service providers.

• Knowledge of engineering, public works/airport construction, environmental compliance and operating issues.

Facilities Engineering Manager

Description :

• Have over 10 years experience, but prefer 15 to 30 years
• Be a manager of a Facilities function and Facilities Engineers (in the last 5 years)
• Petroleum Engineering degree HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Have on & off-shore experience

• To qualify, you should have experience related to oil, water and gas separation and processing, including sour fluids handling; onshore and offshore facility engineering design and construction; and significant supervisory/management experience.
• Prospects must have a related degree, preferably in Petroleum Engineering and a career within Exploration & Production companies.
