Job Description and Role
Internal Working Relationships Managing Director, Field Sales Managers, Trade marketing Managers, Key account Executives, Sales Executives, Finance staff and Merchandisers.
External Working Relationships Customer and Principal management and key operations personnel, service providers and outside decision-makers.
Key Accountabilities • Responsible for the delivery of net profits, growth, operational excellence and employee performance of the division.

• Responsible for the planning, development and implementation of aggressive and innovative sales and marketing policies/programs for principals and customers with a view to ensure adequate penetration, market share, product positioning, growth and performance.
• Direction and administration of all business, sales and marketing operations and administrative functions to achieve outstanding results for the division.
• Responsible for achieving sales and marketing targets in line with company business plans and budgets.
• Representing the company to the FMCG division’s principals
The incumbent would be independently responsible for key activities Sales, Marketing and Operational Excellence including formulation of business plans, people management, business growth and expansion. Will interact directly with the Principals for products, pricing and strategies.
Minimum Qualification and Experience: Masters Degree in Business Management & Administration from leading institutes with a minimum of
3-4 years experience in FMCG industry having handled reputed brands.

Role:

  • Develop and lead material selection process for Large Hydrocarbon projects.
  • Responsible for defining material selection procedures,
  • Must be aware of all international standards and codes used in large upstream oil and gas projects,

Qualification:

  • Bachelors Engineering Degree or Masters Degree in Metallurgy

Experience:

  • 15 years and above experience, a min of 10 yrs (4 yrs shall be in upstream facility) experience in oil &gas engineering related to materials selection / corrosion control.
  • Fully conversant with relevant international standards.
  • Experience with Company and/or Shell Group projects and standards (SPs / ERDs and DEPs) are strongly preferred.
  • Shall be we conversant with CS, SS, DSS, SDDS, Incoloy 625/ 825, Corrosion resistant linings (eg PE, FBE, PP etc), Clad vessels, Non metallic materials like HDPE, GRE-Piping etc applied in oil & gas industry.
  • Experience in using corrosion assessment software to arrive at corrosion rates.
  • Experience in material selection related to sour & high sour services in oil & gas industries

General:

  • Knowledge of engineering research work conducted on material selection

  • Analytical and problem solving

  • Team player and good communication skills

Principal Accountabilities

  • Categorization of material selection for project specific requirement Corrosion Assessment, Materials Selection, Failure Analysis, Inhibitor Selection and Cathodic Protection.
  • Corrosion Assessment and Materials Selection, Preparation of specifications for Material selection, Welding, Fabrication, painting / coating and corrosion protection of flow lines, pipelines, associated oil and gas piping & equipments at various stages of project (eg. Concept selection stage, FEED, DD)
  • Technical evaluation of Bidders to ensure adherence to contract Specifications.
  • Review of vendor drawings, Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)/PWHT procedures,
  • Painting/Coating and QC procedures; analysis of corrosion monitoring data, Corrosion
  • Assessment, Failure analysis and preparation of corrosion control procedures.
  • Preparation of Materials Selection and Corrosion Control Philosophy and preparation of
  • Materials Selection Diagram (MSD) for major equipment and Piping.
  • Preparation of Design General Specifications for Cathodic Protection of On-grade tank bottoms and buried piping.
