RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. Database Administrators have a range of skIlls and knowledge of the utilities and production tools used for data storage management to support the project.
REQUIRED:
5+ years experience with Oracle database and Oracle Database Administration
5+ years with logical and physical data modeling and design
4+ years experience with data conversion and/or integration
3+ years experience with store procedures, triggers and database packages
3+ years experience with optimization and database tuning
2+ years experience with XML
2+ years experience using data modeling tools (ERwin preferred)
Familiarity & experience with Rational products is a plus
PREFERRED:
Oracle certification is a plus

• Experience of database system monitoring using GUL tools like Oracle OEM grid control, SQL Server 2008 Management Studio, and using command line executing SQL to query database performance data.
•Experience of Oracle database and archive log backup using RMAN,Oracle export/import. SQL Server database backup, transaction log backup.
• Knowledge of supporting high availability database system withOracle RAC, ASM, Standby database, Data Guard, SQL Server Data Mirroring,Log Shipping.

* Experience: 8+ years
* Experience in providing all round expertise in the execution of DW projects. 
* Experience and skills in one or more areas of DW lifecycle - requirement analysis, design,

* Experience in consolidation of the project metrics, ensuring QA standards, and reviewing of
the technical documents for completeness, correctness and accuracy 
* Extensive knowledge of various DW & BI tools: Databases, OLAP, ETL and Data
Cleansing, especially Business Objects, ETI and Teradata. 

Technical Architects (Code: TA): Experience: 10+ years 
* Experience in leading-edge techniques applicable to DW architecture, system environments

techniques 
* Support development of engagement strategy, including statement of work development and
risk assessments

Data Warehouse Administrators -Teradata (Code: DWA) 
Experience: 5+ years 
* Experience in providing expertise in database administration of specific DBM and operating
systems 
* Experience in installing, upgrading and maintaining databases of different versions 
* Experience in designing and implementing back-up and recovery procedures 
* Experience in monitoring database performance, space, other database parameters,
outstanding tasks and projects, planning workload and dependencies, monitoring progress of
processes, and resolving resource conflicts and application problems 

QUALIFICATIONS: MBA degree holders can apply for Positions PM and BA. 
For the remaining positions, you should hold a MCA/BS/MS Comp. Science degree with an
impeccable academic record.
