CICS support is a transaction based general-purpose data communication software system. The CICS support group provides support for CICS and its related products (both IBM and OEM), by interfacing with the software vendors to obtain and install fixes as TSO / ISPF
Team Support Responsibilities Console Commands for zOS
The CICS Support Team will:
Install / Debug CICS Transaction Server and administer
Receive CICS System Software and maintenance from the IBM National Build or from the appropriate vendor for OEM software. Mainview CICS Skills
Create and maintain the startups for the CICS regions. SMPE Skills
Create and maintain the CICS journals and logs that are associated with the CICS regions. CEMT Skills
Build new or clone additional CICS regions as required.
Install, implement, and maintain supported CICS system software and related products in appropriate CICS regions following the SMC process.
Upgrade CICS system software and related products.
Perform problem determination and resolution for CICS systems software and related program products.

Production system software support for IMS. This position is responsible for overall support/integrity of various versions of IMS subsystems on Mainframe
Ability to code JCL and execute base MVS utilities (e.g., IEBCOPY, etc.) in a JES2 environment.
Objectives Working knowledge of the IBM IMS Database Tools product set.
Provide 24x7 support of a large IMS environment running in a DBCTL datasharing environment.
Knowledge of Datavantage and File Manager/IMS a plus.
Provide assistance to the IMS DBA staff with problem analysis/resolution as it relates to IMS connectivity/access/usage.

Ability to code JCL and execute base MVS utilities (e.g., IEBCOPY, etc.) in a JES2 environment.

Objectives
Ability to support internal code written in SAS.
The objectives of a Production DB2 DBA:
Working knowledge of BMC Software's DB2 utilities and administrative products.
Knowledge of DB2 Connect and other remote access facilities

Team Support Responsibilities
The Production DB2 DBA Team will Provide assistance on logical and physical database design as required from the customer development teams.
Provide assistance/guidance on the use of IBM and OEM utilities/tools asrequired from the customer development team.
Maintain/define access privileges for DB2 application related objects/data/schema.
Insure all DB2 application related objects/data/schema comply with IBM and customer security requirements.

Description
Websphere MQSeries Support team provides support of the MQSeries subsystem and related IBM and OEM software products.
Objectives
The objectives of MQSeries Support are:Maintain the MQSeries systems software used within the current z/OS mainframe environment.
Maintain the MQSeries subsystems running within the z/OS mainframe environment, including the MQSeries communication facilities that communicate to other products.
Scope
The scope includes MQSeries Systems Programming support responsibilities for all related MQSeries systems software and the MQSeries subsystems running in the z/OS environment.
The MQSeries Systems Support Team will:
Install Upgrade MQSeries and related systems software in the z/OS environment.
Customize and Tune the MQSeries subsystem environment
Provide corrective fixes to MQSeries and related products.
Interface with automations on MQSeries startup/shutdown.
